Society


Meetings are held once a month in London, on the second Saturday of each month (except August). Our meeting venue is the Union Jack Club, Sandell Street, London SE1, (near Waterloo Station), and meetings begin at 2.00 pm. At least one all-day meeting is normally held and additional meetings are usually held in provincial centres. 

A quarterly Journal is published, packed with articles and details of new discoveries, members' queries etc. Postal auctions are also held quarterly and exchange packets circulate (by post in the UK) and all members may buy and sell using these facilities. Members also have the use of an extensive library (within U.K. and some EU countries) and photocopy service.

The Society year runs from 1st February to 31st January and members joining midyear receive all the Journals for that year.

Why not join the premier Forces Postal History Society, a society run by collectors for the benefit of collectors? If you are interested in military postal history then it is in your interest to join THE FORCES POSTAL HISTORY SOCIETY.
