From Jim Mackay a large display of military Christmas cards, including regimental cards, royalty, cards from Gallipoli, Mespotamia and Salonika, some silks and Prisoner of War items.
A display given to the December 2021 FPHS Zoom Meeting by Chris Grimshaw. Gives the history of British and Allied prisoners of war held in Turkey during WW1, including details of camp locations, numbers of POW’s held and the postal arrangements through both the Turkish Post Office and the International Red Cross.
