The President in the first half initially showed Indian Field Post Offices in Italy during WW2 and was completed by US Air Force covers also in the Italian campaign. The display had number of examples of each of the Field Post Office cancelers showing the different locations these operated from during the campaign. The majority of the American covers were from the collection of the late Bill Collingwood and showing both the 12^th and 15^th Air Force units in the Italian Campaign. There was also a cover sent via the US Postal system from the 1^st Brazilian Air Force Squadron in 1944.

The second half of the display concerned the British Army in Ireland; the majority were cancels and postcards showing the Curragh Camp. This included examples of most of the different type of cancellers used from Queen Victoria to 1922 when the British handed the Camp to the Irish Army. Then there were Army Field Post Offices used in Ireland from 1918 to 1923 during the Civil War period until the withdrawal of the British Army. The end of the display was British Field Post Offices used in Northern Ireland during WW2 with both Army and RAF Censor marks.

The pictures are of a Queen Victoria envelope from Curragh Camp with Irish duplex canceler numbered 455 in 1902 and other is a cover from a member of the 1^st Brazilian Fighter Squadron to the US in 1944 (APO 525).
