FPHS Data Handling Agreement

 

Specified purpose

 

The FPHS holds personal data on current and past members for the purposes of administering the Society and to enable the provision of membership services. The personal data we hold is Name, Address, Telephone number and Email address along with your collecting interests. We keep this data about you in order to:

• maintain a list of members so that we can send out our Journal package, renewals, exchange packet, Library loans, auction items and other society communications, either by post or electronically. Electronic communication also includes sending out other relevant philatelic communications from organisations such as the Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) to which we are affiliated, The Postal Museum, Stamp Active Network (SAN) and the Royal Philatelic Society London (RPSL);

• to maintain records of subscriptions paid;

• to keep your information up-to-date (you have a responsibility to keep us informed of any relevant changes). We do not and will not share this data with any other organisation other than with our Journal printer to send out paper copies of the Journal package and this is dealt with under a data sharing agreement.

 

Cancellation

​You can cancel this agreement at anytime and your details will be removed. Please contact the Secretary in writing
