BEF 1940 Embroidered Silks

What must be a unique display from FPHS Member Jim Etherington. You are treated to 19 fascinating slides presenting the BEF in 1939 - 1940 and the use of silk postcards. Many collectors will relate to silks used from the British Army on the Western Front in WW1, here we see similar use ranging from standard greetings from France 1939 & 1940, military units (including the RAF) and season’s greetings.
