Society member Jim Etherington sets the screen for the British Governments announcement of evacuation 1939 by displaying a range of ephemera and postal history associated with the wartime evacuation arrangements. Including stationary notifying change of address, the evacuation of children, redirected mail, letters from or to evacuees and items forwarded to evacuees overseas.
