Dodecanese and the British Occupation 1945-1947

The island group of the Dodecanes came under a brief occupation by the British from 1945 until 1947, after which they were ceded to Greece as part of the Treaty of Peace. In this display Mick Carter shows some stamps and postal history from the period including use of the M.E.F. overprints (with postage dues), stationery and telegrams.
