The Salonika Campaign

The Salonika Campaign – A Postal History 1915 - 1918

Building on the earlier publications of John Firebrace, Ted Proud and Alistair Kennedy and George Crabb this study seeks to illustrate mail from this campaign and introducing further research.

Earlier works concentrated on listing the various Field Post Offices and Stationary Army Post Offices which were opened and closed throughout this campaign. Locations throughout this time were researched and detailed in their publications.

Part I of this study covers stamped mails, Registered, Parcel Mails and other paid mails which were dispatched.

Incoming mails are also shown including Casualty mails.
