Society Announcements

A reminder that our annual War & Philetly event takes place this coming Saturday, 9th August 2025 (10am to 3pm) - look forward to seeing those of you who can attend. Flyer giving details attached.

Peter Harvey, our Zoom meeting organiser, writes:

Unfortunately due to work commitment I will have to CANCEL the Forces Postal History Society zoom meeting on the 21st November.

This is the first zoom event that I have cancelled in three years, I apologise for this, however unfortunately work still has to take a priority. 

I will update members on the next zoom meeting in the coming weeks. 

Thanks to Geoff Hanney and our webmaster (Bob Bruce) we now have missing Newsletters (now Journals) for 1960 and 1961 scanned and uploaded in our Members area (select Journals and scroll down to the folder 1-227, open up and select which year you wish to view). We now have a complete run of our Newsletters / Journals from Issue 1 to date.

They are a good resource to research - enjoy the read.

Due to pressures of work and other activities Peter Harvey has had to change our June ZOOM meeting date. It will now be held on Wednesday 26th June at 2pm and not Saturday 22nd June. Peter will be sending out a reminder soon.
