Bears Rail Camp, Windsor
I initially posted this under a recommended Web Sites category in error rather than general Discussion so moved across.
Bears Rail Camp, Windsor was opened 'by' 17th August 1915 and closed 'by' 19th October 1915 according to the Post Office Circulars.
According to Kingston's book there was rubber date stamp used at this camp with text & date in 4 lines.
I am interested in the earliest date and latest date of use?
As this could be up to a week earlier than opening date and up to week earlier than than closure date quoted above.
Since I originally posted this I have found a drawn example of the Single Ring Skeleton used in James Mackay's Book on Skeleton Postmarks of England and Wales. Which I have scanned below to help with question above.
