HMS Malaya - Gould 7A50

ree

The attached cover shows the cachet PASSED BY CENSOR recorded by Gould (British Naval posts and Censor Marks) as 7A50 50 - 30.5mm, with the LONDON Registered datestamp 4 SP 17.

I can not find any records of service for HMS Malaya after Jutland, where the ship was very badly damaged by German shelling. I have found some records of deaths on board 1917, with some references to East Africa (uncertain), but no firm locations.

Does anyone know where this Battleship was in August/ early September 1917?

Thank you

Peter

According to Wiki, she spent the rest of the war on routine patrols and training in the North Sea.
