WW1 British Hospital Ship number
I have been asked by a member who does not use the forum for assistance and I am hopeful that the forum users might assist with this.
Michael Gould in the publication British Naval Posts and Censor Marks records the cachet shown on the attached card as PC Hospital Series numbers (1A 150 to 1A 159 on page 69 of his book) and he lists PC 22 (Guildford Castle), PC 25, PC 28, PC 29 (Dunluce Castle) and PC 31 (possible Valdiva).
Does anyone have any further listings or allocations for these numbers, or record numbers that are not listed by Michael Gould.
Any help would be appreciated.
