Censor 271
I am attaching scans of two Air Letters to Ross-on-Wye bearing the above censor (R11). These appear to have been sent over the period 23rd December 1943 - 5th January 1944.
A few queries: first about the abbreviations in his address:
40 ASP - Air Stores Park?
DAF - Desert Air Force?
CMF - Central Mediterranean Force?

I note that there is no mention of Malta in your extract from Proud, The second air letter mentions his time at Kalafrana, which I believe was a seaplane base at the southernmost end of the island.
