"NIGERIAN" PIONEER FORCES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

Following the help given to me with my previous post I thought I would give it a try with this one. Attached is a scan of a cover from a member of the Nigerian Pioneer Corps in North Africa, utilising Field Post Office 393, which was used in North Africa from 1941 to 1945, It was censored in North Africa and again in French Cameroun, where it was addressed to. It was posted on 20 November, 1943, and back stamped in Kribi, Cameroun on 5 January, 1944. My questions are, were there French Cameroon troops in the Nigerian Pioneer Corps and if so, would they be allocated Nigerian service numbers.
