General Discussion

I have received the following enquiry: I am a collector primarily interested in South African material, and becoming increasingly more interested in WW2 postal history. I have acquired, through a happy auction bid, a large collection of EPP datestamps. This is a topic of which I have scarcely any knowledge! I have also acquired a copy of Benians' book on this topic with which I imagine you are well acquainted. My question is whether there are any further books on this topic which will assist me in research and enable me to gain a more intimate knowledge of the subject, the better to write up this material. I have suggested to him Proud's Volume III as that contains a chapter on Egypt & The Western Desert which will help him understand the military situation in Egypt as well as a listing of EPP datestamps which may or may not extends dates of use. Does anyone know of any other publications which may assist him?
