10 (EAST AFRICAN) COASTAL BATTERY.
I attach a scan of an on active service air letter post marked at East Africa Army P.O. 71, a Lines of Communication P.O. located at Berbera, British Somaliland. It was sent by a member of the service from No.10 (EA) Coastal Battery circa 29 January, 1945,who had earlier been stationed at No. 7 (EA) Coastal Battery located on Zanzibar. As we know L Of C post offices could pick up mail from anywhere. Can any member help me with the location of this battery.
