East Africa censor

Does any member know the assignment and location of the crown above shield unit censor No.4735 shown on this June 1944 cover via EA APO 88 at Nairobi? Looking at the franking, I am assuming the cover is philatelic.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

I did a search on the web and found that it stood for East African Military Labour Service (I found two references for WW2). I then did a search on that title in The National Archives and came across the following War Diary entries for 11 Group East African Military Labour Service:

War Diary for 1941 - WO 169/3170

War Diary for 1942 - WO 169/7208

War Diary for 1943 - WO 169/14382

War Diary for 1944 - WO 169/18533

War Diary for 1945 - WO 169/21990
