Chaplain's first name wanted
I have received the following enquiry from an individual in Canada:
I have a WWI GB war diary that mentions Chaplain Captain The Reve'd D. McPherson RC. I am trying to find this Chapain's first name.
Is there anyone out there who may be able to assist please?

If this Revd was an Anglican I could almost certainly find him in Crockfords Clerical Directory, but as he is an RC that denomination do not appear to have a similar listing. The Army List will only give his initials and surname.
