British style registration label used by US forces in WW2

I have received the following enquiry from a member of the Military Postal History Society (MPHS)

Question: is there a listing/catalogue of these items? I would like to know what items exist, where they were used, etc. Hopefully you can send me in the right direction.

The item below was used in November 1945 with a return address of 150th Station Hospital, APO 437. I also have a US Forces 6 used at Plympton. In addition I have a couple of USAF registration labels in a totally different style. I have exhausted every source I can get my hands on at the American Philatelic Research Library.

(The above is a cropped image, it should have performated edges)

Does anyone know if there has been an article or publication on this type of registration label?

Do you have a cover with a similar type of label - if so please do place details on the Forum so that we can collate a listing.

I understand that this will also appear as a query in our Journal.

I have found another item with British Style Registration label. This one is numbered 2.

On back are couple of American APO marks although faint number reads 651 (the same as the address on the front) which at 5th January 1944 was at Kidderminster. Correctly rated for registered letter.
